This year, the ATA’s Technology and Maintenance Council created a similar annual event in September to highlight the work of our nation’s fleet technicians and established National Technician Appreciation Week. While the official events last for a week, we honor our driver and technician teammates all September-long, celebrating Driver and Technician Appreciation Month.
While the celebrations will look a little different this year to adhere to COVID-19 safety precautions, we still plan to celebrate together with lunch, gifts and giveaways.
Reflecting on the excellent work of our drivers and technicians throughout 2020, President Dave Glancy said, “Driver and Technician Appreciation Month has even more meaning this year, looking back on how our drivers and technicians have tirelessly served our customers and communities throughout COVID-19 – and continue to do so. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work and commitment to getting the job done well and safely each and every day.”
Like we have said so often, this Company doesn’t exist without our drivers and technicians. Thank you for your professional and dedicated service!
