Every year the transportation industry comes together to celebrate its members who keep things moving – the drivers. The American Trucking Associations hosts the annual National Truck Driver Appreciation Week event and it was celebrated September 9 – 15 this year.
According to a study by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration nearly a third of large trucks with pre-crash violations had brake problems. To bring awareness to the dangers of faulty brake systems, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) holds an annual inspection event – Brake Safety Week. This year’s event is September 16-22.
Red Classic had one driver and four technicians compete in the North Carolina Truck Driving Championship and Top Tech Challenge on May 18-19, 2018. The championship took place at the Charlotte Park Exposition Center and was hosted by the North Carolina Trucking Association.
