Celebrating a Decade of Operations

Ten years ago today, Red Classic was created as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Coca-Cola Consolidated. Take a look back with us as we review some of the highlights from our first decade of operations.
10th Anniversary Trailer at Coke Consolidated

The idea for Red Classic came about when Coca-Consolidated leaders worked to identify new streams of revenue, starting with activities in which the Company already excelled. Going into the transportation business was the logical next step as we already had a fleet of top-notch equipment, a network of terminals and a team of talented drivers. Why not offer our logistics expertise to other shippers?

In the decade since, Red Classic has grown quickly, achieving double digit growth in multiple years. Today, Red Classic has more than 1,300 teammates, provides logistics services to customers across the U.S. and Canada and has more than 80 fleet maintenance shops throughout the Southeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic. We’re so grateful to all of our teammates, past and present, for their tremendous contributions to our Company.
